Tesla Model Pi: Tesla smartphone is coming soon

There is no doubt that Elon Musk wishes to establish a presence in all futuristic industries. From PayPal to SpaceX's reusable rockets, Musk has never failed to dazzle the world with his brilliant, out-of-this-world ideas. Now, Elon Musk is getting ready to unveil yet another game-changing piece of technology.

Tesla's next big thing, the Tesla Model Pi, a truly futuristic smartphone, is on its way. With features like crypto mining, this smartphone cloud will be a game changer in the smartphone industry.

Here's everything you need to know about Tesla's  first upcoming smartphone, the Tesla Model Pi.

Design

Tesla is known for its attractive designs for its electric vehicles, and the Model Pi is no exception. Anotenio DeRosa, a well-known tech designer in the industry who has created many concept designs for companies like Apple, created the Tesla Model Pi concept design.

The phone itself has a design that is very similar to Apple's iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, though the camera alignment on both the front and back sides is different. There are four high performance cameras on the back, with an LED flash, and a punch hole camera on the front, which could be an under display camera.

The Tesla Model Pi may have a color-changing body, but there is no solid evidence of this as of yet, despite the fact that the smartphone appears sleek and stylish.

Tesla Model Pi features

Tesla Model Pi will be a game changer in the smartphone industry, with integration with Starlink, Neuralink, and Marscoin mining, to name a few features. Let's explore further. Shall we?

Integration with Starlink

Because of Starlink connectivity, the Tesla Model Pi is expected to work without a sim card or even an e-sim. In the beginning of 2018, Tesla launched Starlink, the low orbit satellite network system, which provides high-speed internet to its users directly from satellite, resulting in improved internet connectivity in any location in the world. Over 90,000 people are using Starlink connectivity by October 2021.

Direct implementation of Starlink networks in smartphones will improve network and internet connectivity almost on any location, with the smartphone itself capable to provide the upload and download speeds of 210 MBPS. This will eliminate the need for Model Pi users to use a physical sim card or even an e-sim.

Integration with Neuralink

Working on neurotechnology Neuralink Corporation is developing implantable brain machines. A person who has a Neuralink machine (a chip) implanted in his or her brain can control machines simply by thinking about them, such as picking up or hanging up calls.

There is no doubt that the Tesla Model Pi will play an important role in Musk's Tesla ecosystem, and Neuralink will be compatible with it, allowing users to control their phone and a variety of other appliances and gadgets with their minds only.

Tesla Model Pi other features

The Model Pi has a lot more features than just Starlink and Neuralink integration, which is why it's being termed "the smartphone revolution." Where Sony Xperia is working  on their expensive phones to differentiate from other flagships such as Samsung and Apple, Tesla Model Pi is more than a step ahead of all of this.

Solar charging is not a new feature for a phone; we've seen it on some phones in the past, but it's not as common in today's smartphones, especially high-end smartphones. The Tesla Model Pi has this feature, and by using solar charging, this phone can cause less environmental damage, which is a good thing.

Cryptocurrency and Bitcoins are all the rage these days, and many people are working and investing in them. The Tesla Model Pi will be advantageous to cryptocurrency miners because it is so powerful that it can be used for Marcoin mining. Tesla's Model Pi would be the first phone to allow crypto mining for its users.

Tesla Model Pi can control Tesla's automated vehicles, and users can connect their Tesla cars and trucks to Model Pi.

For the time being, this is all the information we have about the Tesla Model Pi; the phone's release date and price are unknown, but we can expect it to be released in mid-2023.
